Design preferences for global scale: a mixed-methods study of “glocalization” of an animated, video-based health communication intervention

Abstract Background Designing health communication interventions for global scaling promotes literacy and facilitates rapid messaging. Limited literature explores preferences animation prototypes other content characteristics across participants in different regions. Prior research underscores an urgent need that are compelling accessible culturally geographically diverse audiences. This study presents feedback from learners on design key considerations the development of educational video intended adaptation scaling. Methods We used a mixed-methods, sequential explanatory design, with qualitative descriptive approach to analysis data. recruited international group enrolled massive open online course. Through quantitative survey ( n = 330), we sought 73 countries be video-based interventions.
